During my extensive teaching career, I have been responsible for music within schools due to my role as music co-ordinator.  I am also a committed member of a local orchestra within West Yorkshire.  I enjoy making music with other musicians, whether they are in a band or a string quartet.  Playing a musical instrument is certainly a great way to make friends.   

I have taught national curriculum music across both key stage 1 & 2, taught whole class violin lessons as well as running school choirs. Choir members and violinists had many exciting opportunities to perform.   

I teach adults as well as children on an individual and small group basis.  I understand the importance of ensuring correct technique right from the very beginning, as well as ensuring lessons are fun and enjoyable.
